Anyone have a DD with super fine, fragile hair?
It took forever for my DD's hair to grow in so this past summer I was finally able to put her hair in a pony tail and she had turned 3. Now, since then, because it cold out I dry her hair when I give her a bath and put her hair sometimes but it breaks so easly. I couldn't believe how much broke on the sides just from wearing a pony tail 2 days in a row. She hasn't had a pony tail in about 2 months too.
I was reading online that it could be a vitamin D deficiency (I think that is part of the problem because she boycotted milk and yogurt but she started wanting it again) and just from using a brush (I use a comb) and doing her hair causes stress to the hair. So I will I guess just let it be like I did in the past but then her hair looks like a mess.
What do you ladies do?

i have aloways had fine hair that breaks easily - my savior growing up was J&J no more tangles - use every time we brushed it

Yes, but she is adorable and still little. DD had hair that length at 2.

I did buy at J+J "detangler leave in conditioner" and I must say her hair looks a little better.

we have to use a lot of conditioner and leave it in for a while before washing it out. we don't use J&J products either.

What do you use? I am not a fan of any J&J products because I feel that they are very drying.
Here are some pictures:
The first (purple and white shirt) is from September.
The other two are from NYE. The side profile you can see all the breakage and none of that was cut.
