Anyone have a great recipe for beef or chicken for a dinner party?
This is for my mom's b-day...It will be for about 5-7 people

You can get a beautiful rib of beef and do a really simple roast with lots of lovely side dishes. This way your beef is easy, and you can concentrate on doing the sides.

Love this Beef Medallions because you can make the sauce ahead of time. Easy and delicious!
This is also good Short Ribs Provencal because everything can be done ahead of time.

This might be good as an appetizer:
Chicken nuggets with honey mustard sauce
Take several chicken tenders and cut them to be bite sized. Dredge in flour and egg, then coat in crushed Ritz crackers. Fry on each side for a few minutes, then bake at 350 for 15-20 min, until done.
For they honey mustard sauce. Combine 1/3 cup of honey with 1/2 cup of mustard. I added a little vegetable oil to thin it out.
I actually made this for dinner, and got raves from DH
