Cool dinner party recipe
My husband and I went to dinner in Chicago and had this..he recreated it a few nights later.
The Rock
Find a largish, flat rock. Wash and scrub it well. Heat in the oven at 350 for about 1 hr.
Thinly slice raw NY Strip. Marinate in sauce of your choice(we've had teriyaki and Thai peanut) Place rock(carefully) in the center of plate. Serve it raw and let everyone heat their own meat 5 seconds on each side for MR. You have to have chopsticks for everyone.
