Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
I've had this feeling since I first saw the baby that its a boy, so now I am just saying its a boy and so does DH. I am so set on that its a boy I already have things picked out in my head what I want. I find out 11/23 and if its a girl I will be totally shocked, but overly excited!
Anyone have this and be totally wrong?

In the beginning everyone said girl, this made me feel like girl. Once I saw the sono I thought boy and stuck to my gut instinct and I was right.

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
Yes, I have had a gut feeling since basically seeing my BFP and so far everyone seems to offer their opinions out of the blue and it matches my gut instinct.
That said, my SIL mentioned that she had a dream that I had the opposite so now I feel confused and don't know. We're still not sure if we're going to find out or wait til the birth.

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
I have had dreams of boy and girl...which threw me off a little but still didnt change my mind of a boy. To be perfectly honest when we first started I REALLLY REALLY wanted a girl. I still do, but now telling myself its a boy it made that 'want' go away. I am perfectly happy with a healthy baby no matter what, but I think everyone has a little 'preference' in there head.

We keep saying "him", even SIL did this the other day. My mom said b/c I am having m/s all day. So who knows? We plan to stay if I can get DH to agree.

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
From the day I received my BFP, i was CONVINCED it was a boy. I mean like I kept getting angry with people who would say "No no you're having a girl"
Well up until 6:30pm last night I still thought boy... I was wrong lol It's a girl
I was in complete shock. Not disappointed, just sad b/c I was SO wrong lol

In the beginning I thought boy but lately I have been feeling it's a girl. People have told me boy, though I'm not really showing yet so not sure how they can tell.

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
Yes, I was completely wrong I was totally feeling from the beginning. We were focusing mainly on girl names and I was just drawn to pink and dresses and girly stuff. Everyone kept saying except for me, DH, my mom and my BFF. All 4 of us were totally shocked when we found out we were having a boy. Not disappointed AT ALL, I was just in shock and I thought I had bad maternal instincts now. Although now I cant imagine not having a son. I'm so excited to see what he looks like!

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
When I was pregnant with DS, I had 2 very vivid dreams that I was having a boy... and I did.
With this pregnancy, I haven't had the dreams, so I have no idea. I keep leaning more towards boy because I am already in boy mindset... we will see in about 7 weeks!

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
my first pregnancy I swore I was carrying a boy, and it was! this time I feel the same way so I'm almost 100% sure it's another boy. the first sono tech told me most times if the mom has a strong gut feeling, they are usually right.

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
yes. with DS i said boy right from the very beginning and i was right.
with DD, i said girl from before i even knew i was pregnant!
BUT i think that might be because:
- DH wanted a boy first
- i wanted a girl this time
so maybe it was just wishful thinking?

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
I would have bet money that this baby was a boy - I was so sure from the very beginning - So was DH and just about everyone else.... I was SHOCKED when they said girl! I am thrilled - but it was a little adjustment to get my brain to think pink! I can't wait to meet my little girl!

Re: Anyone have a gut feeling of what they were having?
I think I'm having a boy! I only have baby boy dreams, when i go shopping i always look at baby boy clothes first (before it was the opposite....I was obsessed with little girl clothes), everyone keeps saying boy too....my face hasn't changed. We tend to refer to the baby as him or the boy name we picked out...then we correct ourselves and say him OR her....Matteo OR Alexia. We will find out in a few weeks. If its a girl....i will be COMPLETELY shocked!
