anyone have a torn meniscus?

i tore it a couple years ago...minor so no surg needed...but it totally acts up sometimes.
i do the elliptical cause its no impact but i still feel the ache kwim? they also say to do gentle leg weights to keep area around strong..but even doing v low weights kills at times.

i hate this. anyone have tips for how they deal with this issue?

dont even get me started on going up or down stairs lol

My brother tore his a few years ago and required surgery. It still flares up a couple of times a year. It's a serious injury even when it doesn't require surgery! Be gentle. I would ask a certified personal trainer on the best exercises for your injury. Good luck!
