I am so torn, should I buy a winter jacket?
I really don't have one that fits and it's getting cold. I don't want to get sick and I want to be warm.
What are you lladies doing?

Re: I am so torn, should I buy a winter jacket?
I'm going through the same dilemma. I am currently wearing my rain coat and a pea coat, both of which fit but I can't button! I think I am going to have to break down and buy one....stinks to have to buy one that you will only be wearing for less than 3 months

You have to make it through the whole winter, definately get one. I bought one during my first pregnancy from ebay for around $50 -- it was new from Gap.

Old Navy is having their 40% off Outerwear sale. I just picked one up for $42 bucks I believe. Not too bad!!

I would recommend Old Navy (40%off right now) or Target.....I ended up getting a coat at Target for $49---it wasn't maternity, but it has an empire waist and I bought a size up....this is it Image Attachment(s):

Re: I am so torn, should I buy a winter jacket?
I'm due in mid Feb. I sooo don't want to buy 1. I live in the city & walk a lot, so I'll have to do something. I'm seriously considering either wearing DH's NorthFace coat and/or asking my 2 friends who had gastric-bypass surgery if I can borrow their (now) too big coats- I don't think my belly get bigger than they were before their surgeries.

Re: I am so torn, should I buy a winter jacket?
I'm in and out all day as a sales rep and refuse to invest in maternity suits. So I'm definitely investing in a winter coat (a long one preferably), hoping for the most part that no one will realize that underneath I'm wearing just slacks and a sweater... they'll see it during lunch meetings but I've seen worse things. They'll see the belly and probably won't care that I'm not wearing a suit.

If I were you I would.
I'm not only because I am due in less than a week. But you have the entire winter ahead of you. Get something basic like a black peacoat or something similar that goes with everything.

Re: I am so torn, should I buy a winter jacket?
I have a black wool empire waisted coat that MIGHT get me through December, but I also bought one from Old Navy (40% ) last week. I haven't gotten it yet - curious to see how warm it is.
