anyone have an infant that doesn't like nap?
DD refuses to nap during the day, making her soooo overtired and I have a hard time getting her to bed at night.
She is only 7 weeks old, so I don't understand....
anyone have any advice, i'm stumped

Are you swaddling her? Will she nap ON you? Those were the 2 ways my DD would nap at that age.

DD would nap in the bouncy seat or swing....she is 6 months now and she still won't nap for long in the crib....however she will sleep for 2+ hours in the swing.

At that age DS napped in the swing or in bed with me.

She'll nap on me, but honestly I can't have her sleep on me for two- three hours.
Sometimes she'll nap in her swing, but not long...
IDK if I should call the ped, b/c yesterday she was up for 12 hours straight with no nap...

Is she having any 'issues' per say?
Kristina was having a rough time w/napping in the very beginning b/c of reflux.
Every time I laid her down on her back, she would spit up. Right around the 7 week time frame, I started letting her sleep on her tummy.... that's also the same time that she started sleeping through the night!

My ds is not a fan of the nap either but if we go for walks he will sometimes take a nice nap when we come back. The swing he can nap for like an hour. He isn't cranky if he doesn't nap though. He likes the 10 min cat nap

Ryan is a horrible napper. Has been since about 9 weeks.
He hasn't had any health issues (ie reflux, collic, etc).
Now, at 4 months I am just starting to get him back on some form of napping schedule.

I think our girls chatted the day they were born  Those are the only ways DD slept too, for a LONG time.
