anyone reusing infant car seat - EPS foam question...
I want to reuse my car seat from DD#1 for DD#2. Problem is, I can't figure out if the seat i have has the EPS foam that Consumer Reports rated as the better Snugride. Does anyone know what it looks like? I have checked Graco's website and have sent an email with my questions, but I can't believe that I can't find one image online that illustrates what this safety foam is all about!
There is foam on the back of the seat, but I was told/under the impression that the EPS foam consisted of 2 rectangular pieces in the back that sit on either side of the infant's head (which I don't have) - am I wrong?
Thanks!

How old is your carseat? year it was manufactured? I bought it in 2006, the manufacturer's date on the seat is 10-07-05.

It is possible. I think EPS was around already.
I would wait for the manufacturer to confirm based on your year and model.
