I ordered a personalized blanket for my son and it came with the month misspelled...the only solution Pottery Barn could come up with was having me REORDER it... (and pay for another in full!) granted, it somehow happened on my end, but I am bummed! I have a misspelled blanket and look and feel like a moron!
Awww, it was an accident...I feel like this could be one of those awesome family jokes...keep that blanket forever and laugh at the pictures 10, 20 years from now!
btw...this whole thread is hilarious!

Anyone have any First World Problems this Friday?
I really didn't want ice cream tonight (seriously, I didn't) but DH scooped me a bowl without even asking. What could I do but eat it??

Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals is next Saturday but I have to go to my step-father's parent's 50th anniversary party.
I wanted to get tickets to see Luke Bryan in September but I'm the MOH in my cousin's wedding the next day. Now I'm trying to get DH to agree to go see him in Texas!!
Did you see he fell on stage last night in NC? Needed stitches !

My bf and I went to Irving plaza to buy tickets to see danity Kane and the woman at the box office said they're sold out. I almost cried.
As he went to bed tonight he threw me his cc and told me to find tickets on stub hub. I'm too cheap to pay $15 more per ticket even if its not my money
What do I do!?

My DH already had the other 3 options, so Mario Party U is getting downloaded here. He has the best chance of me playing that one too, although I did play a couple of rounds of Mario Kart 8 last night.

I did! Poor guy!! He said: "Check this out: The last time I was in North Carolina I busted my ass on stage! What is it about North Carolina that makes me bust my ass? Please YouTube that s--t!"

We can't put our boat in the water this summer because money is tight. I inherited the boat when my stepdad passed away. He loved it and we love using because it is really the only link to him we have left. Every time we use it and are driving on the bay down the cut on the way to the beach I just look around me at the beauty and each and every time I say a prayer thanking him for this gift that he has given us and I can feel him with us still out there doing his favorite thing. We enjoy the boating life as well and are very thrilled to be able to give that lifestyle to our boys as well. Dh grew up on his boat all summer and he cherishes those memories. His parents own a boat slip as well so the boat is free, the slip is free but the bottom needs to be painted which is about $200 and then the gas to use it and anyone know owns a boat knows that at least something goes wrong with it every season that needs to be fixed so God only knows what that would be this year so it's just not in the cards for us this year to put it in the water and it's so painful looking out in the backyard and seeing it on the trailer...taunting me lol.

There's a focus group going on at work for one of the Broadway shows, and usually they bring some kind of snacks...cupcakes, cookies, brownies.
This one brought no snacks and I ate a lighter lunch assuming I'd be getting some kind of treat.

I'm having a vow renewal and want to know if it is ok for me to tie my 8 yo to the back of my dress, you know she might be shy and not want to walk down the aisle and all.
