There's a focus group going on at work for one of the Broadway shows, and usually they bring some kind of snacks...cupcakes, cookies, brownies.
This one brought no snacks and I ate a lighter lunch assuming I'd be getting some kind of treat.
I had a similar problem today. I was invited to a meeting at lunchtime, they promised lunch, but then didn't provide lunch. So I had to sit thru the meeting with the tummy grumble and then go get my own.

Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals is next Saturday but I have to go to my step-father's parent's 50th anniversary party.
I wanted to get tickets to see Luke Bryan in September but I'm the MOH in my cousin's wedding the next day. Now I'm trying to get DH to agree to go see him in Texas!!
Did you see he fell on stage last night in NC? Needed stitches !
I did! Poor guy!! He said: "Check this out: The last time I was in North Carolina I busted my ass on stage! What is it about North Carolina that makes me bust my ass? Please YouTube that s--t!"
