Re: anyone have experience with the donor egg program at LIIVF?
I have not used them, but I have a friend who did and was VERY happy there. I know she talked about all the things you mentioned, felt they were organized, did not wait long to find a donor she liked and did not choose to share although it was something she considered.
If you like I can ask her more next time I talk to her.
Good luck to you! DE is great route to choose, although I know sometimes its a tough decision to make

Re: anyone have experience with the donor egg program at LIIVF?
I dont have experience at LI IVF fro donor egg, but i do have experience at Cornell for donor egg. they are supposed to be the best (or one of) for their donor egg program. the waiting list is 6 mos+ but that is average - can be shorter, can be longer. But they have a highly recommended egg donation program, I have felt at home there since the day i met my doctor 11 years ago. I was 18 at the time, and am now in the very beginning stages of Egg donor with my husband and have had no desire to go elsewhere..
If you have any questions - do not hesitatie to ask!
ETA: I dont mean to turn you off LI IVF at all - i apologize if thats how this post came across. I was pretty much just telling experience with a DE program in the event you were still searching and 'consulting'.....good luck!

what is this egg sharing thingie?
ps 'egg sharing' is when you share the cost/eggs with another couple - the dr's divide the high quality eggs in half and then you only pay half the cost.
its a personal decision. Its also a money thing, its 10k vs 5k....a pretty big difference. but if you dont 'share' then you do get to keep all the eggs and have them frozen for another time. so the children will be full siblings.

Re: anyone have experience with the donor egg program at LIIVF?
I have looked into the ED program at LI-IVF and it seems to be one of the better programs around. You get to choose the donor from a list, there is a lot of info on the donor so you can choose someone close to your ethnicity, education, genetic pool. There is also no waiting period for most donors.
Good luck in your decision.
ETA: here is the sample list of donors for an example...LInk
