Anyone have extreme pain around their lower pelvic/pubic area?

I feel like this pain is behind my pubic bone. I cant even describe it. It happened twice really really bad in about 20 minutes. Its been going on for like an hour. I've been walking around stores today from like 5-7:30. I havent been doing anything too active. I'm starting to get worried now bc it keeps happening out of nowhere. The last few times the pain comes I've been laying down. I dont know what to do. I guess my question is are contractions really that low, ever? I've had BH in my stomach before but nothing like this. I'm 33 weeks. Can anyone please help me? My poor DH has no idea what to do to help and I dont even know what to ask. I took tylenol when I got home bc of my back and I thought it would help with this. Any advice or suggestions at all??? It really hurts when it happens.

i remember with my first my pubic bone hurt.... not what your describing...

call your dr...

Sounds like contractions to me. I hope you were able to get some sleep last night. If they still continue, call your OB!

I've had that - well I think I have. It's like I've pulled something almost - very low in my pelvis. If you are at all worried just call your OB - it's worth the peace of mind.

i had a pain that sounds like the one you are describing last week off and on for a few days. I mentioned it to my dr...they did an exam and said there was no progress but it was probably the baby moving down

Thank you! I guess I'll call my ob. I felt it again this morning, but no pattern or anything. I guess I'll do nothing today even though its killing me to just lay.

A couple of my girlfriends had this too and no one said it was contractions. They all said it was from your uterus continue to stretch and start to separate. Let me know what your doctor says!

doesn't sound like a contraction to me...have you looked into pubic synthesis pain?

I've been feeling pelvic pains for almost a month now on and off, but the pain I was having yesterday and today was like extreme intense tightening that stopped me from even thinking. I really dont even know how to describe it.
The pelvic pains that I've had before this were a little higher and just felt like soreness and stretching but bearable.
I wanted to wait to call the dr. I havent felt it in a couple hours so I'm gonna try to hold off until tomorrow. I'm really just resting today if it happens again I'll call him.

Feel better and never be afraid to call the doctor to ask a question. I am always hesitant myself, but this is why they are there.
