Anyone have herniated disks?
My friend is suffering so bad with herniated disks that she can barely walk. She was on Prednisone for a little while and it helped but now that she is off them, she is in horrible pain again. It has been going on for months and months and I feel horrible for her. She sounds so depressed every time I speak to her. I wish there was something I could do to help her or make her feel better. What have you done to help the pain from your herniated disks?

my DH was on pain patches for his neck problems
maybe she can try those
the problem is what ever you take- your body gets used to - very fast- so you have to keep trying new things
I went thru this for 2.5 years- when my husband neck stopped hurting- the doctor wanted him to keep taking pain killers- very ethical- b/c he was cash cow coming to the office all the time
