Anyone have these Lenox dishes? (opinions? w/pics)
I am considering these Lenox dishes for "everyday". I didn't get china for my shower b/c I inherited my grandma's and I never use it (I consider it for display only) so I wanted something a little fancier for everyday!
Anyone know if they hold up well in the dishwasher? Are they prone to cracks (I have heard this before about white ceramic dishes)?
(I had to return my original set of everyday dishes to Fortunoff b/c they were defective so I am now sitting on a lot of credit...).
Thoughts? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like the above pic is a bad one... They are much prettier (and not as orange) in person! Here's another pic of the Linen Closet.

I have Butler's Pantry Gourmet, but I am still in my tiny apt. and haven't even unwrapped it yet! I do believe that it is dishwasher safe, though. That is one of the reasons why I registered for it.

You are right - it is definitely the perfect blend of elegant and casual!
I am afraid the Linen Closet may get food stuck in all of the scrolling details!

I LOVE the Butler's Pantry. Go for it. I don't know much about the cracks though.

I like the way the first set looks but does it have mugs available? I don't use my cups and saucers everyday, I use mugs that match so if it doesn't then I'd go with the second set b/c it's more of a mug. I don't think the pic does it justice b/c the tea kettle you posted is much more attractive than the place setting picture looks.

Re: Anyone have these Lenox dishes? (opinions? w/pics)
I have the Gourmet and when I was registering I was torn btwn the two also
The GOurmet has so many more matching pieces- which is what made my choice easier.
They are dishwasher safe- but the large plates are NOT microwave safe.
Believe it or not, the large plates are sooo big- I use the smaller plates more.
I didnt get the cup and saucer- instead I got the mug- thought it was more useful!
Either way- u cant go wrong!
