What do you make as side dishes?
When I cook dinner, i feel like I always make the same sides and want some new ideas. I always make some vegetable and rotate between perogies,boiled/baked/mashed potatoes, mac&cheese, orzo or small pasta. Any suggetions?

Couscous? Brown rice?
Sometimes I just make steak or chicken, and on the side we have green salad and a really good loaf of bread that we dip in seasoned olive oil.

Most of what I eat as entrees are considered side dishes. I love black bean and rice, couscous, risotto, broccoli and cheese casserole, grilled portabellas, sauteed spinach with onion, garlic and a little paremsan cheese.

Yeah, me too - I eat side dishes as the main course. I LOVE all the things you mentioned.
