Re: Anyone have ultrascreen/NT scan at NSUH?
I did with ds. No diff than doing it at the OB's office if they have an adequate machine. Well, except for the fact that I waited almost 2 hours in the waiting area.
Some people say their tech took a shot at gender but mine laughed in my face when I asked.
It was about 15 mins long- bunch of measurements. Then a quick blood test where they prick ur finger and put dots on a paper.

Wow. I can't believe you had to wait almost 2 hours. My appt. is at 8:30 so hopefully I'll get in on time. For the blood test part, they send the results to your doctor, right? And he reviews them with you? I'm asking because my scan is Friday and my appt with him is Tuesday night, so I hope he'll have them by then to discuss with me.
Also the tech or dr. at the hospital I'm assuming will review the sono results with us there, right? I won't have to wait to see my OB to get those I hope.

At 8:30 you shouldnt have to wait to long. Ask for Nancy the sono tech to scan you if she is working that day...she is GREAT!!! She did all my scans.... I can actually email her and find out who is going to be working on Friday....FM me if you want...
Good Luck

We also had one of the first appts- I am pretty sure 8:30 too. Hopefully you won't have the wait we had. I made that time b/c DH was hoping to get to work without too much disruption, lol, oh well.
The tech was happy to inform us during the scan that everything looked great/normal. As for the blood- I never discussed the results with my OB bc he was the type to only mention something if there was a problem- so I'm not sure how long it took. When the scan looked good I wasn't really concerned with the blood I guess.
