Anyone hear about the 10 month old baby girl missing...
I saw someone post this on facebook, so i looked it up. So sad. I couldnt imagine.
The babys name is Lisa Irwin, 10 months old.
Taken from her home in MO on Oct 3.

I just read about this! She was taken from her crib!! That's so sad and scary. I hope she's OK and they find her soon!

2 things I thought were weird here:
baby last seen at 10:30 PM when her Mother put her to bed...sort of late IMO?Although I guess she coul dhave woken and was being soothed back to sleep.
Baby last seen in shorts and a t-shirt? Why no PJ's?

the article i read said that the baby was sick with a cold. maybe that's why she went to bed "late" or maybe that's just her schedule?
also it's Missouri, i assume it's pretty warm there. maybe the shorts and t-shirt were a pj set?

i certainly hope there is no fowl play here with the parents. it doesn't sound like it to me. it sounds like they are living every parent's worst nightmare.

According to the article it said that the mother had 3 cell phones on the counter b/c she was re-programming them and the abductor took them all..doesn't that seem strange??

This whole story sounds very strange. I really want to believe the parents and I hope they're telling the truth but I can't help but wonder. The cell phone thing is very odd. Either way, I hope the little girl is ok

My 11 month old routinely goes down for the night about 10:30. She also naps prior to that. Not all babies sleep through the night.
She has jammies that are short/shirt sets.
Fail to see the relevance here.
Where did the cell phone story come from? THe articles I read said nothing was taken from the house.
I hope they find the baby and she's OK.

If they really did take the phones then this may have been a planned situation, even a family member abduction. Maybe they figured if they didn't have immediate access to phones there would be a delay in calling 911 and give them a head start to go somewhere. I really hope this story has a happy ending and that she is with someone that is caring for her. Heartbreaking.

Good point.
I've heard of people with young infants/pregnant being stalked by women who can't have a child too. I wonder if this was something like that?

If they took the cell phones isn't that a GOOD sign, so that the cell companies can try to track not 1 but 3 missing phones?
It said her short and shirt set was purple with kittens on it. 
Poor little girl and she has a cold too.

i saw the mother on tv this morning begging and crying for baby to be dropped off...no questions asked.
i don't think they had anything to do with it.
my kids where shorts and ts to bed often...
and esp under 1 are put to bed late

My 6 month old goes to bed around 930 but more often 10. I've tried to get her to bed earlier but she just won't go to sleep until then. Maybe this baby is a night owl too.

A neighbor has told the police they saw a stranger walking with a baby wearing only a diaper down the street around 1:00 a.m., the day that 10-month old Lisa Irwin was reported missing from her home in Kansas City, Missouri.
This is the only lead that the police have to go on, as there are no others, according to CBSNews. The police are asking anyone with information to please come forward.
Baby Lisa was last seen when her mother put her to bed in her crib around 10:30 on Monday. Police suspect someone entered through a bedroom window and took her, sometime between 10:30 and 4:00 a.m. in the morning when Lisa's father came home from work and found her gone.
Authorities have interviewed the parents and the Lisa's siblings and have stated the family has been very cooperative and if there were any holes in the story, they would know by now.
The police were out in full force searching for missing Lisa today, and will continue their search tomorrow morning.
Authorities have cancelled the Amber Alert for Baby Lisa at 7:00 p.m. today sine the public awareness has been raise.

This is so odd. Something is definitely off here. I almost hope it was a family abduction because at least the child is more likely to be safe.
