anyone here have a Toyota Sienna?
We're currently in the market for our first minivan The Sienna seems to be a great deal but I want to see if anyone has any real complaints with it first.
Any feedback on the Sienna?

I don't have one but 2 of my friends do. They love it. They both have 2 kids & say the Sienna is great for space for strollers groceries etc...

I don't know anyone with the Sienna but I've only heard great things about the Odyssey, I'm useles, I know!

Within the past month we test drove the Sienna and Odyssey and preferred the Odyssey. We picked it up about 2 weeks ago.

NOOOOO! Honestly, I'm still on the fence about it. I LOVE the crossovers out there now but they are just so damn expensive and we refuse to drop a ton of money on a lease that will just get beat up.
I fell in love with the Acadia but it's so friggin expensive! So DH is all over the minivans now.
I think between the two, the Odyessy is more popular but Honda is usually pricier than Toyota. They are both great companies though.

I really wanted an Acadia too but it was just so much more money, it didn't make sense for us right now.

I got the Chrysler Town and Country..picked it up last week. All good so far. Think i'll need a degree to understand all the gadgets and buttons...great though!

Teri-we have one for 2 1/2 years and I have no complaints. Except someone wrote with marker on my dashboard but I guess that's not Toyota's fault. We have the LE (mid model) with 8 seats. I love the way it handles and still have lots of storage even with 3 carseats.

It actually worked out that the Odyssey was cheaper than the Sienna for more things. The ride is quieter in the Sienna but the Odyssey handles better (IMO). I've had my Odyssey for 9 days and have 450 miles on it already. The hubby loves it.

we went with the Odyssey over the Sienna mainly because it was cheaper. We are very happy with it, but I also really wanted the Acadia. We were this close to getting it and then the reality of the savings between the two hit us.

 couldn't resist....
I love the reputation behind Toyota's (being a previous owner of one before DH came along  ) and I know you can't go wrong with one... I've been in one for a long trip with a coworker and it was a nice ride and very comfy.
Have you looked at something a little smaller than the Acadia - like the Torrent or GMC's new Terrain (not out yet, but due this fall!)?? Simillar in size to a Chevy Equinox. I still have months left on my Envoy lease, and we're considering these two, because if we do need something bigger for a trip, DH can always "borrow" something, KWIM

Trish - haven't looked at either of those yet. We need somethingwith a 3rd row so that limits us abit.
I am SHOCKED some of you saythe Oydessy is cheaper than the Sienna - I thought in every case Honda would be more expensive than Toyota.
We're pricing the Oydessys out tomorrow - we'll see!

I've had mine since '04 and still love it!!
I have never driven the Honda but the major selling point to me was AWD. Honda does not offer it and I just felt more comfortable with having it in the winter months.

okay - went to Honda today and LOVE the Odyessy. It has a lot more bells and whistles than the Sienna had, although I see why the Sienna is diserable too with it's handling. It's a bit more quiet than the Honda too, but go figure, Honda gave us a better lease deal!
So, unless Toyota can beat Honda's price, we may get the Odyssey now!

We picked our Odyssey up last Saturday..
So I have been driving it for 6 days and I honestly say I love it... Never thoughtwe would end up with a minivan but I think we made a great decision...
I can FM the price we got if you want-- got the EXL.. I think we did very good with our lease price....

I thought we had made our minds up with the Sienna, but then Karen posted the comparisons between the Odyssey and Sienna and so now DH wants to test drive the Odyssey.
Did anyone buy the Odyssey? We've never leased before, but it seems like that's where the good deals are now. Hillary - would you mind FMing me the info?

We brought home a navy blue Odyssey today! We love it. It drives really nicely - it's not as awkard as I thought it'd be as a minivan.

my2boys - Hil got a great lease deal but ours was pretty impressive as well. We went to Babylon Honda and were able to avoid putting any money down. We have a 36 mth lease.

Congrats Teri. You will love it esp on a rainy day trying to get the girls in their seats and not get drenched yourself. I'm jealous of the color.. I love navy blue. I have a gray Sienna. Dont ask me why I picked gray - I wish I picked something less common. My SIL has the Odyssey and loves it with her 3. It was our 2nd place choice to the Sienna. I dont really think you can go wrong either way so it sounds like a great choice. Enjoy!
