NO way!! I love babies and if god blesses me with 2 then I would take it. But my girlfriend had twins and I dont know how she does it. They are a hand full. Plus she does not have to work. My fear is that if I dont get pregnant and I have to do fertility treatments that I will have multiples. Can I send the muliple dust your way and keep the 1 baby dust??

Me!!!! Twins only run on my DH side, so that probably won't make much difference for us. I heard they have to be on the maternal side. But I would love twins.

It's funny - b/f I had DS I would have answered this question YES - two babies for the price of one pregnancy
But, then, I had DS and my view on this question changed entirely. Of course I would LOVE and be so excited with whatever god blesses us with but, do I secretly hope for it - no. Having one was difficult enough! I can't imagine how hard it would be to have two. Plus, time goes by SO fast and they change every day...each new day is a new stage and the old one is gone. I would rather enjoy that time with EACH baby rather than only going through it once (and probably with a lot less enjoyment  ). I remember being SO sad when DS started getting out of that baby stage (he is 19 mos now) - I felt MUCh better knowing I would god willing be going through it all over again with #2 - but I am crazy

No way. cute but too hard. We have twin cousins.. and it was so hard, the parents had to receive so much help from family in the beginning especially, the work to care for them was constant. feed one, feed, two, change one, change two, repeat, one wakes up, one sleeps, never on same schedule at first, the schedule is better now but now that they are walking, each runs in different directions.

Not at all! I've had 3 different psychics tell me I'm going to have a boy and then twin girls. Twins run on both of our sides. I really hope we don't have twins because I have severe back problems and am worried about carrying 1, let alone 2.
