I am interested --- So far for those dates Sat Dec 3 would be the best during the day
but I could do a Thursday night (dec 1 or 8th)
The other nights would be too hard since I live over an hour away.... I work till 4:45 M-F

Any of the dates I mentioned work for me I think whatever date will allow the most people to come should be picked.

Ive read two of them. I wouldnt recommend the Power of Six as a book club book. Its part of a series and its not really the type of book that makes for a good BC book.
I read CeeCee... i wont read Room, so count me out if thats what everyone wants. But i'll do any of the others

Ok so we're narrowed down to
One Day - David Nicolls
The Best of Me - Nicholas Sparks
The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven
Since Dec. 3 is pretty close I was thinking maybe The Best of Me bc it is 292 pages verses One Day which is 437 pages (based on a google search lol). Just so it will be easier to get done. Or even the Boy Who Came Back From Heaven which is 256 pages.

Ok so I literally wrote the names of the books on paper folded them and picked one out (lol) and I got The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven by Kevin & Alex Malarkey.
1st Meeting Date is Dec. 3 at 11am at my house.
If you're coming FM me and I will send you my address and directions.

I would definitely be interested in doing a book club!
I have a suggestion - maybe pick like the 3rd Thursday of every month this way everyone knows to try to keep the date available. Of course an online discussion would be fun too, but I would love to actually get together.
And to make it easier for everyone since we are all over LI, Queens, ETC, we could do an occasional Starbucks meeting somewhere central.
Those are my suggestions  But I'd love to be part of the group! I love reading and would love even more to have a group to discuss it with.
