Anyone know of an indoor pool that would allow private swim instruction?
I know this is a long-shot, but can't hurt to try:
Anyone know an indoor pool (in Suffolk) that allows anyone in? Here's the story: we now go to a friend's house who has an outdoor pool, and we all hired a private swim instructor to come to their house and give 3 kids private swimming lessons (they each get 30 minute lessons). My DD is doing really well with it and LOVES her instructor (when she's in the bathtub kicking like she's supposed to, she'll say "Christine would be so proud of me" ). Our last class is Friday, due to the summer ending. The instructor said that if we can find an indoor pool that we could use, she'd definitely continue providing lessons.
Anyone know of somewhere she could do that? Obviously it has to be somewhere with an open-swim type thing since the instructor isn't an instructor anywhere, KWIM?
I know we can do Saf-T-Swim, etc...but DD REALLY loves this instructor and really does great with her.
TIA!

Have you tried the YMCA pool? I know they have open swims certain hours. You do have to pay to go in there though.

She really is so darn cute with it...she did it on the Lazy River at SP with DH too...was "scooping" her arms over the raft and saying that to DH. She LOVES Christine

Hmm...I'll check, thanks for the tip! We'd totally pay if it's reasonable!

Check high school pools in your area. They usually have some sort of open swim.

Great idea, thanks! The instructor is actually a Special Ed teacher at my DH's school, so that would be VERY convenient!
