HD, lowes, Aboffs
you need to buy the real paper ones to be able to paint over it.
Can I ask why you would want to paint over wallpaper?

Is it an entire wall, or just areas? Depending on the size of the damaged drywall it may be a lot easier to just spackle over the damaged areas.

ITA you are going to have the spackle the edges anyway to get it smooth so I would just do it the right way. they sell DIY kits if you are new to doing it. And you can look up youtube videos of how to do it
