Anyone lease/ buy a Honda Pilot recently
Did you have trouble getting certain colors.
We were all set to go, was supposed to pick our up LAST monday and now the dealership is saying that color we choose (white) might not be in for a long time
So we gave them 2 more options (silver with grey interior and silver with black interior ) and now they are saying those are hard to obtain as well.
Sounds fishy? He said we would have this problem no matter what honda dealership we went to.
We are ready to cancel the deal

DH just leased one. He told them he wanted red. They didn't have it. They only had blue so that is what he took. It is a nice color and that was not important to him. My issue was they advertised that they had a huge stock and all they could come up with was blue.

Honda and Toyota both are having trouble with their inventory because of the earthquake and tsunami. They're actually the only two major car makers without sales increases in 2011 v 2010.
We just bought an Odyssey and the color we wanted was out for a while as well - not a ton to choose from.

At least a year a a half ago my aunt and uncle were trying to get a certain color pilot (that dark grey/silver). They would up going to westchester to find it after looking for several months.

We leased a few months ago and didn't have a hard time getting ours (white) at all. We leased through Millenium Honda in Garden City.

That's where we went. So crazy! My DH is getting frustrated bc they aren't even telling us when. They keep saying they don't know.

We ended up buying CPO but, our dealership didn't have a great selection of new Pilots to choose from.
