I haven't decided yet. It depends - if we definitely put the baby in their crib right away - we might. Otherwise, I think we will not get one.

I didn't think I would use mine but got one anyway and I am actually glad I did. I use it quite a bit for nursing, especially in the middle of the night so we don't wake daddy.

We didn't think we'd be able to afford one but my parents ended up helping us with an upholstered glider from BBB (best chairs) and I am SOOO glad we got it. I really don't sit in anything else anymore.
We didn't get the ottoman though (we didn't have space for it) and the one we got was $359 before tax.
I am so glad I have it. I seriously think it's in my top 3 items with the pump and bouncer.

i use mine now and the baby isnt even here i sit in the baby room and its very relaxing plus it helps with my back.

I dont' think we are going to get one. The room is on 10x10 and with the crib and dresser I don't think it will fit.

I didnt have one when my son arrived and I nursed him on the couch. It was so uncomfortable!
We wound up getting one from family when he was a few days old and I kept it in the living room for a while since I had a c-section then moved it upstairs to our bedroom since the baby was in the bassinet. I nursed him in it so I didnt disturb my hubby and it was VERY comfie!! I STILL use it today in his nursery to rock him sometimes when he wakes in the middle of the night.

We didnt.. I have a popasan (sp?) chair that I have had forever..and it was nice to curl up in and snuggle with my son. My MIL had a glider and although I liked it,it was hard for me to get comfy in b/c of my back problems and my episiotomy, the chair cushion was plush but my @ss made it feel like I was sitting on concrete! Not to mention it als had arms, and witha baby it was hard to find just the right position.. HTH..

We didn't have room in the nursery/bedroom -- well right now there is no nursery ... the crib is in our bedroom and honestly she just sleeps in her bouncer every night...
but we put it in our "TV room" and that's where we always feed her. It's super crowded --- but I'm glad we have the chair.

I don't have enough room in the nursery since we are getting the armoire too so we are getting one for our office, where we needed a corner chair anyway. I will probably do late nite feedings in there.

that's great to know...we DO have one of those...if my puggle will let me use it! He LOVES it

I got one and I have heard from all my friends that it is an essential item. I think I will use it a lot--especially at night when the baby wakes up.

I'd skip the gliding ottoman. We have just the chair and still use it every day. Now it is where we sit and ready with Jack before bed.

We have a glidder/ottoman and I absolutely LOVE it. I use it several times a day to BF her and read to her at night.

We moved from a one level house when Cole was 6 weeks old. I didnt need it there - I just went out to the living room, but now with the bedrooms upstairs, I'd be lost without it!
