Anyone on prozac....i have some questions
...i made the switch from pristiq to prozac. Since then im always shaking my leg without noticing.
I have lots of energy which is great but DH thinks its too much energy. When i finally wind down at around 12... im at at 3 am. WIDE awake.
has anyone experienced this?

did you switch slowly? what dosing? what other meds are you on? who prescibes it? alot depends on all these factors.
i nver had that issue with prozac at all

i nver had that issue with prozac at all
i did.... i took both meds(pristiq and prozac) at the same time during the switch (but only half of the prozac dosage)
Now im taking prozac 40mg
only other meds are BC and klonopin (as needed)
My psychiatrist prescribed it

I started prozac at 10mgs and slowwwwwly went up. Never had the issues you did. I would def talk to the doctor about this. I have been on a whole bunch of different meds and with the exceptuon of paxil and remeron I never had any unusuaL side effects. Hope u feel better soon!

Sounds like you may have to have the dose lowered. I was having similar issues when my dosage was too high (hyper active, unable to sleep, ick!) Feel better

I've been on prozac for about 15 years. When I was 13 they raised my dosage from 30mg to 40mg and I got the shakes bad. They brought it back down. I'm on 20mg now with no problems.
