Anyone on the "Fat Smash Diet"?? UPDATE
Today is day one for me and I was wondering if anyone else was on it and how it is working out. This seems like such a great diet and easy to follow. Just curious...
ETA: I just wanted to give an update on my progress throughout the Detox phase... I am in my last day of phase 1 and since starting last Tuesday, I've lost 5 lbs!!!
Oh and check out my new purchase! I got this yesterday.....I don't have the room for one of the steppers like they have in the gyms, so this one was perfect! It pivots side to side with each step. I did it for 45mins while watching the Biggest Loser last night

Re: Anyone on the "Fat Smash Diet"??
I picked up the book from Barnes and Noble. Check it out!
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780312363130&itm=3
Its a 90 day program that begins with a 9 day detox phase that allows you to eat unlimited fruits and veggies, 4 egg whites a day and 2 cups of brown rice. They diet uses 4 phases and each phase introduces more foods. You have to work out 5 days a week but you can pretty much do anything that will get your heart rate up and for at least 30 minutes. In the back of the book it gives you recipe ideas to help you with what to eat from phase to phase. No counting calories or charting!!

It's the diet they followed on Celebrity Fit Club (I don't know if it's still the same) ... I did it for a few months last year but I can't remember how I did! I think I lost some weight (and I didn't really work out).

ETA: It is actually a lot of food to eat throughout the day. Its only 11:50 am and I've already eaten 6 oz of plain yogurt, 3 egg whites and I am working on a huge bowl of fresh cut up fruit now. Luch will be at 2pm and I am going to eat a green bean salad and some brown rice on the side. Homemade lentil soup for dinner!

Yes! It was used on the show. The book is written by one of the doctors from the show

I'll do an update once the detox phase is over.
Sorry, I posted this on the wrong board and it ended up here. LOL. I was like "where did it go?"

I love that diet. I did it for a week and lost 7 pounds - then did it right after giving birth - did it for a week and lost 5 pounds. It's a great 'kick starter' for a healthy lifestyle.
