Anyone paying OOP at LI IVF?
I'm wondering if anyone is doing the self pay option, specifically doing an iui or micro ivf case rates.
Just curious if anyone has first-hand experience, and how I would go about finding some more information about this before contacting them.
I recently switched careers, and lost my health insurance. I've been put on DH's insurance, but they do not offer any IF coverage excepting testing, blood tests and sonograms. Just trying to get a grasp on how much it all is going to really cost

Have you looked at IVF grants? I think there was a poster on here who was selected and she got a BFP on a mini-ivf cycle...

Re: Anyone paying OOP at LI IVF?
I did a clinical trial at New Hope in NYC and got free IVF, I pulled conventional though, not mini. It worked my first time too!
It would be good for you since the only thing OOP is meds and sedation (if you need it, if you make too many eggs).
FM me if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer.

Re: Anyone paying OOP at LI IVF?
I've applied to 2 different grants (one of which was the one that poster with the bfp was accepted for), and have been told because I have a known condition and am overweight, I am ineligible. From what I gathered through the emails, the grants go to women with unexplained infertility issues. I wish I met the specific criteria, but unfortunately I don't

I believe LI IVF had a package deal of 12K for IVF and that included all the tests, monitoring, ICSI, assisted hatching (if needed), etc....not sure how many IVF cycles were included with that.

I think that Includes one fresh and one frozen cycle, assuming you have any to freeze. But if OP has monitoring already covered, they can probably work out something a lil better.
