Anyone Run Cow Harbor in The Past?
I am running the cow harbor 10K this weekend and they have over 5,000 participants. They tell you to park at Northport HS and then buses take you to the starting line. I can't imagine a HS having 2,500 + parking spots so I am kind of wondering how big it is and when I should plan to come and park.
Anyone ever run and can give me some secret pointers about where to park or what the deal is - I would appreciate it.

there are definitely places to park at the HS. It's a very well run event and they will have cars on the grass etc.
I actually park at my BIL's parents house - which is halfway between the start and finish. My cheering team is stationed at Church and Main, so I meet them back there.

There will be parking.....a lot of local people have someone drop them off so there aren't cars for every single runner

Re: Anyone Run Cow Harbor in The Past?
Like the previous posters said, there's nothing to worry about. Despite what I think was 5,000 participants the last few years, they have it under control.
I am one of those people looking to get dropped off actually. Since we have friends and family going to watch the race we are trying to coordinate getting dropped at the start this year.
Last year I parked at the high school though and I wasn't even close to one of the earliest people there and there was no problem.
