Here in NY NBC aired the 9/11 Memorial and moment of silence, not the Kardashian interview. That's crazy that they didn't air that nationally

I'm not surprised it wasn't aired. In NY, NBC did air the memorial and observe a moment of silence, but I really am not surprised that it might not have aired elsewhere. I think what makes it disappointing and disgusting is that they opted to air Kris Jenner instead.

BUT to play the devil's advocate..could this have possibly been in a different time zone...and their 8:46 was different than our 8:46 and the moment of silence was during a diferent part of the show!?!?!

I don't think so because the picture in the link shows a news scroll on the bottom mentioning Daytona Beach.

The time zone thing doesn't jive only because according to the articles (not just this one, but others), it states that anyone outside of the NYC viewing area saw this...so anyone outside of the NYC area but within the eastern standard time zone was witness to this piece of trash.
Disgusting.
And it doesn't surprise me in the least that this cow would agree to wh0re herself out on a day like today, knowing that she would spark controversy.
It does surprise me that the Today show, with their bad ratings as of late, would make this choice. I hope it screws them up the ass royally.

i dont watch today, but I turned on GMA this morning at like 8:30ish and there was some stupid F*** segment on college girls paying consultants to get them into sororities..and im like WTF...what day is it today that this shit is on??
I have no idea if GmA had any coverage this morning..i had turned the tv on and then couldnt stand the segment and shut it off.

They were discussing this on the radio today. I find it really disturbing. I understand that maybe they were trying to move on and saying when is the right time. But to me this is a tragic day every year! Even 11 years later and I still get emotional. I still cry. I did not lose anyone and it still makes me think of All who died or risked their lives trying to save others. My Uncle suffers everyday with health problems from digging through the debris trying to find survivors. He has lost over 10 people from cancer that he worked with that day. The images of that day are so very clear! Where I was, How I felt, the way everyone was so nice to each other afterwards. I think this is an event that changed America and I still feel it may be too early to not honor it. On top of it really a kardashian talking about breast implants?? Come on!! Who the Eff cares!!
