not anymore thank God but he use to.
ETA: My DH use to work rotating shifts. The worst were when he was on 4pm-12 and 12-8am. He'd work those 7 straight days & we'd hardly ever see each other.

Yup. I am usually home alone until 9 most nights. I mean, they arent HORRIBLE, but we dont spend alot of time together during the week. I see him for 10 mins in the morning, and like an hour at night, then we go to  .
But Sundays we are together all day, and Saturday from 4 on.

Yes, DH works between 70 - 80 hours a week. Plus, his laptop is open all weekend long. It makes me crazy.

I feel like I'm a single Mom during the week.
(and come to think of it- on the weekends sometimes too).

Yep!! I am married to an accountant that works for one of the big 4. He is in assurance so his busy season is all year long and unexpected!! I always tease him and tell him I am going to get a boyfriend!

While i was dating DH he used to work 4-12 at night and we would hardly see each other. i rememeber how i hated that. But now he works 12 midnight to 8 in the morning and he sleeps right after dinner. our "quality" time is right before dinner and dinner itself.

DH works 2-10 with rotating days off. He has a weekend off every 6 weeks. Not fun

DH used to. He used to work 6 days a week and 3 of those days he worked until 10 PM (sometimes later). It stinks.

DH has an office job but he gets in at 8am,never leaves before 7, usually works from home until midnight...and a few hours on the weekend. So yes his hours suc k

DH does. He is a full time student so it works with his schedule. He works 4pm-2am, then commutes home, which is on the ferry, so he gets home just before 4. On sundays he works 9 am to 6 pm. gets home at 7:30.
can't wait for school to be over!!

Mine too. He's on a rotating shift with rotating days off. He works 7am-3pm for 5 days, off 2 days, then 3pm-11pm for 5 days, then he's off 3 days. It's so frustrating to plan things and when he's on 3-11, I'm have to be home with my step daughters.

DH works 6 days a week most of the time, and is only off Sunday's. He works 9-9 3-4 of those days. It's tough, but I 've gotten used to it.

DH works 7 days a week. M-f he leaves a around 8 am and gets home between 8 and 9. I got to school 3 nights a week so I do not really see him, then sat and sunday he works all day.

yes , 7 days a week he works
he works 40 hrs at his "day job" then 30 hrs a week at his second and third jobs. mostly done all weekend he leaves at 11pm fri night basically dont see him at all until sunday afternoon

dh works from 7-7, he leaves at 6:30am and doesnt get home until 7:30-8 somtimes.
it stinks!!! b/c i'm home around 2-4 so it's lonely sometimes!! and by the time we're done eating dinner he's asleep on the couch

I'm the one who works the crazy hours. I didn't see my DH for 3 days this week. I had to stay in the city because I was working so early/late. I can't wait for tonight

yes... he works 3-11:30 with Thurs and Fridays off. I thought I would hate the shift at first but I am enjoying the nights alone and we are actually getting along better. But I HATE that he works every weekend.
