We both work long hours, but my commute is much longer so I don't get home until at least 9 pm. I also usually work on the weekends, but I try to work from home.

My DH works midnight - 8 am and only has 2 days off of the week so at least we eat dinner together and I sleep by myself.

my dh works from 4 to 12:00 a.m
Soon he will be working either 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am

We both work bad hours---he works from 2pm-11:30pm and I work from 7am-7pm 3 days a week and 10-4 2 days. So i get up at 5:30 and am asleep when he gets home at midnight. he works every other saturday and i work every third weekend (sat and sun)
For awhile I worked the overnight shift and we really never saw each other-he slept alone at night and I slept alone during the day

me too!!! what does he do??
I feel for you two. I couldn't imagine sleeping without DH. He fell asleep on the couch last night and it was the first time we didn't fall asleep together since we were married....and I couldn't sleep.

My DH works until 9 on Tues, Wed and Fri. But then he goes directly to the gym afterwards, so he doesn't get home until 11pm.

well, my DH starts job #1 at 730 and works til about 4. Then 2 nights a week he works job #2 from about 4-8pm in Manhattan. So a few nights a week I am home alone til around 9. It kinda stinks but I hang out with Casey and do stuff around the house.

DH works 24 hour shifts, 2-3 days a week.
So I sleep alone 10 days a month.
The other days he works for the family company. That job also takes him on conventions for a total of 6-8 weeks during the year.
I haven't seen him since tuesday but he comes home tomorrow!

Mine does.. He is usually at work from 9-9 PLUS weekends! Only gets 1 day off a week and it's during the week when I am at work.
