Anyone switch from RTF to powder? tell me if DC reacted
we are considering switching to powder since it's cheaper now that insurance is not covering his formula....
did switching affect your DC? How?

We had to since Neocate only comes in powder. Obviously it's not exactly the same since we had to get him off all dairy, but it seemed like he had no issues with the consistancy.
We did try with Sarah and it gave her bad gas, so I switched her back to RTF since we were dealing with colic at the same time and I didn't want to add to the nightmare.

When Nate was on Enfamil Lipil RTF, he did not do well with the powder.
Then he went to Similac Soy RTF and then later powder with no issues. We switched between the two all the time. Jayden is also on Similac Soy and we switch also.

Sofia got bad bad bad gas, broke out in a rash and was miserable..
thank god I used the powder for only 8 bottles..
PRAY my ins covers..

I tried and she spit up even more, so I switched right back.

Hayley had no problems when I switched her from RTF to powder. Eventually she was switched to Gentlease which only came in powder so we didn't have a choice then.

I normally use RTF but use powder if we'll be out for the day and I see no difference at all.

my son made the switch with no problem. For a while I still used RTF at night because i think its thicker, but now its 100% powder, and i have no problems
