Anyone Tutor for regents ?

Does anyone tutor for the regents ?

Ive tutored/and am tutoring only elementary school students, but have a word of mouth referral to tutor a HS student for the regents.

basically test-prep and studying, etc.

What's the best approach for my tutoring sessions?
They are working on practice tests in class, and have all the books.
Ive already thought about index cards to study from, practice tests, but when it comes down to it, it's memorizing this info!

any good strategies or tips for me ?

I can only speak from the SS tests, but they repeat the same topics over and over - just change the wording.

I have tutored regents through my company. Which subjects are you being asked tot tutor?

It's a lot about practice, going over things, and capitalizing on the way the students learn best. So if they are great at Spanish, find out what they do to memorize vocab for spanish and use that as the basis for other memorization, etc.
