Anyone use invisalign?
My wisdom teeth have shifted my teeth and I don't want to get regular braces again. I was wondering if anyone has used this, if it works, and how much it costs? I would, of course, have to get my impacted wisdom teeth pulled first, but I want to definitley get my teeth straightened after. Any experiences?

YES.....it did help...I really needed regular braces but I refused to get them......It didn't get them exactly the way I wanted them and it was 6,000!

yes, I currently have them. I love them!! It did take awhile to get used to them, but I definitely notice a difference.
After insurance, I paid about $4k out of pocket.

My DH just finished over 2 years with them, and to be honest, he isnt thrilled with the results. Theres absolutely improvement, but his teeth didnt "turn" the way I think they would have with traditional braces. He got them through our regular dentist, and in hind sight, he really should have gone to an orthodontist. I think it was a huge waste of over 3 thousand dollars.

I just got a consultation about them after finishing some dental work and it would cost me nearly $5000 and at least 2 years because they need to not only straighten my teeth, but also shift because I have an overbite.
Needless to say, I can't afford it now

I had the same wisdom tooth problem, but the orthodontist said invisalign wouldn't do enough since they had shifted. I had invisible braces and they are now PERFECT. Cost $3000 for just bottom after insurance.

How invisible are the invisible braces? When I got braces years ago we went to a horrible orthodontist, who has since retired. My bottom teeth are slightly crowded looking, but braces never fixed it. I honestly am more concerned w/ the top...that's what people see more of when I smile. It's definitely not horribly noticeable, but it bothers me and makes me feel slighly uncomfortable to smile. To be honest, it seems that there are mixed reviews about invisalign, so I am a little skeptical about paying so much money for them. If the invisible braces are not too noticeable, and less expensive, but work...I would most likely go that route.
