Anyone use NS Manhasset or LIJ for high risk
First I will say, I AM NOT PREGNANT with #2. Probably wont be for awhile but figuring out some insurance things and I thought I would ask around on here.
I will need to see a high risk dr next pregnancy. With DD I saw my regular OB plus a high risk OB. 2 separate dr's. I delivered in Winthrop. Great experiences despite all my complications.
But if I were to use NS manhasset or LIJ to deliver next baby (again not even pregnant yet ) I would love some recommendations of dr's that are in there.
Are there any OBs that are also high risk so I dont have to see 2 separate drs each time and make 2 different appts, trips etc.
TIA!!

I just spoke to the np @ nsuh maternal and fetal medicine yesterday with the same question since I previously used them in 2004 and they no longer do deliveries. She stated that you would see them along with your regular ob(not happy about that).

I delieverd my son at LIJ (New Hyde Park) and i am glad i did. my preganacy was not high risk until the day before my son was born but he was delievered by Dr. Fliesher ( the head of the Maternal and Fetal Health Department) and i will definatly be seeing him again one day when and if my DH and i decide to have any more childredn.

Re: Anyone use NS Manhasset or LIJ for high risk
My doctor was Marti Gilbert for my pregnancy. I wasn't high risk until the Monday before I delivered DS. When I went to the office because I wasn't feeling good, I saw the high risk doctor in the practice Dr. Klein. I delived at NS Manhasset. Dr. Gilbert delivered my DS, but Dr. Klein did my fallow up appointments after I was discharged. I had preeclampsia and DS was delivered very emergency c-section at 30w6d. I loved both Dr. Gilbert and dr. Klein. Would use them again if and when I get pregnant.
