Just trying to compare pricing not sure if this is best way to go for us as far as pricing. Open to suggestions. TIA

I used the VFW in Centereach for my daughters christening 2 weeks ago. We had the smaller room which held up to 70 people. It was $450 for the room. To add beer, wine and soda, they charge and additional $10 or $12 per person.

We used the American Legion in Babylon for my oldest son.
The room was PLAINNNNNNN... but we decorated it, had our own 'bartender' and a great group of people. A bonus was that Robbie was baptized in January and there was a football game on so people were splitting time upstairs/downstairs.. and the bartender at the bar downstairs let my guests drink free downstairs since we had a keg that we bought from them upstairs! After the party a fairly big group of us stayed downstairs, watched more football, played pool and drank and socialized. The place was empty except for us and it was a great time!

Crashing here...We are using the Elks Lodge in Smithtown for our baby's baptism party. The price was good and we are using their catering as well because we have heard great things about it.
