Need a hall for Lindsay's christening

How come it is so hard to just rent a hall and bring my own food???

I am looking iin the Centereach/Selden/Ronkonkoma/ Farmingville area. I might be open to other areas, my church is on Portion Road right off of Holbrook road so I don't want to travel too far from it.

Thanks!

Use one of the Rec. Centers...you bring everything!!!!! The bohemia one is the niceset, cost 350 for 5 hours...ETA I just had my sons BDAY there and its wonderful, full beautiful kitchen etc...I also found a really reaosnable place to deliver balloons to take that stress away!

What about the firehouse in Centereach? Do they rent that room out?

Its not the fanciest place in the world - but we had a suprise 30th for my brother at The Hungarian Liberty Hall
( Literary Society)on Ocean Ave. in Ronkonkoma....Its is really really roomy and they have a full kitchen set up downstairs which our waitresses LOVED !!!...If you happen to need a waitress, mine is awesome Chat Icon

Re: Need a hall for Lindsay's christening

I had Rj's christening at TGIF (which is now in Centereach or Lake Grove) and I was able to bring in my own food...

I rented the room, had a DJ, staff, and cotton candy machine-so i paid a bit more $$$..

Also how about the Polish American Hall in Pt. jeff- its really nice in there...

Re: Need a hall for Lindsay's christening

Thank you everyone!!

Centereach doesn't rent out the room, I already asked.

I will look into these...

Any more suggestions? I am scrambling because it is Communion month (May) and the place I wanted is booked

Re: Need a hall for Lindsay's christening

I think Raynor park has a room on the little beach that can be rented out...if I remember correctly- it was pretty nice inside... (My cousin had her sweet 16 there over 10yrs ago though...lol)

I know some churches have a rec room...maybe your church has one???

There is also a place in Pt.Jeff... where "kids quest" is.... you can rent out the room there, and it's HUGE, and since kids quest is right over there- there is a playground outside and everything....
