Anyone with low amniotic fluid during Level II?
Was anyone ever diagnosed with low amniotic fluid during their Level II?
I was diagnosed with low amniotic fluid and then went back one week later and it was the same. I've been drinking 7-8 poland spring water bottles every day now hoping it will improve. My next appt is in 2 weeks. I hope everything works out
Has anyone else been diagnosed with this? What did your doc have you do? How did it turn out?

When I was pregnant, I was diagnosed with low amniotic fluid. I just kept drinking water by the gallon every day, nothing else but water, and my numbers went up at times. But honestly, the numbers fluctuated all the time. Just keep drinking water and they will continue to monitor you all the time - look at it as an opportunity to see your baby at extra times.

Re: Anyone with low amniotic fluid during Level II?
With my 2nd pregnancy, I had low amniotic fluid at my growth sono - little later on. I took it a day after I had a big bbq and I think the salty foods and bad foods I ate the day before or maybe even the all day heat effected me because I had drank as much as I normally would have. They just monitored it for like a week and it went back to normal pretty quickly after that so they stopped watching it. Good Luck.

Wow I was hospitlaized with that number and they are telliing you to wait two weeks for your next sono? That is crazy.
I have to get a sono twice a week.
I would still be in the hosptial if it didn't go up.
They checked you for leaking fluid right?

No...what happened is that my doctor's office did not have convenient times for sonos since I work in the city so he sent me to another place. In their report to him one section wrote normal fluid and the other wrote "subjective low amniotic fluid". I followed up with a sono one week later at that other place and so now I don't know what the report said but he just said to come in two weeks. When I was at the other place they asked me if I was leaking and I said no but they never tested me. I am wondering what plan my doctor is going to take after this upcoming sono. He has not yet seen me bc the sonos have been at that other place. The thing is the baby is growing normally....so I have no clue. If the level is low again I'm definitely going to be more proactive at the next visit!
What was your number? How long were you hospitalized?
