The sign went up yesterday that there were 3 confirmed cases in day care- two in the 3 yr old class, one in the 4 yr old class. I thought we were in the clear because my oldest DC is in the older 2's class, and the over 3's and under 3's don't even use the same playgrounds. Well, my 22 month old DD woke up this morning with the rash on her face and neck- ped confirmed impitego, and now I found a spot on DS when putting him to bed tonight. I have also heard that 2 teachers and a bunch of kids have a stomach virus, and one teacher has a very severe case of the flu. Chat Icon I'm calling out of work...all next week!!
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this...how long did it take to go away with the antibiotic ointment? It was so beautiful out today but I didn't even take my kids to the park because I know how contagious it is and I didn't want to knowingly infect other peoples children.
