Moms of infants...where do they sleep when your away from home?
We stayed over at a friends this weekend, and tried to put DS down in her crib. He hated it!!! Would not sleep anywhere...couldnt figure out if it was the crib he hated, the room etc...Finally got him to sleep in the swing ( which we never do). Do you think they know the difference in cribs...do you use the pack and play?

When dd slept at my mom's house she slept in the Pack N Play. She seemed to have done fine and didnt have a problem. She always sleeps in her Crib at home.

I was SO worried about how Ryan would nap when I returned to work since he's really only done so in the swing. I bought him a travel swing for my mom's and a pack n play (even though he has never napped in ours at home). Also, we went for dinner recently and left him at his other grandparents for a few hours and tried out the pack n play there - he actually slept fine in it. I bought a cheapie on (Graco Tango) for Grandma's and I figure I can use it when we travel.

Thanks girls...when you use the pack n play do you use the bassinet part...or reach down and put them in the big part. Luke moves around a lot I think the bassinett part might be too small for him...but isnt the bigger part a far reach down..?

Regular pack n play - bassinett is only good for up to 15lbs.

When we travel, I used the bassinet part until he outgrew it (15lbs/rolling over)---now we put him down in the bottom and he sleeps fine.

It was the bassinett part. She is a little baby so she fits fine in that for now. Soon she will grow out of it im sure.

In the pack n play. When he was small, he slept in the bassinett. Now he's in the bottom. He never gave us a problem with it.

We used the top of the pack and play until MY DS reached the weight limits (I think it was 3 months) and now we use the bottom of the pack n' play.
