Anyone's toddler not want clothes on suddenly?

It used to just be if the clothes had something on them - usually cars - that he wanted to look at instead of wear. Now, he's being weird about clothes in general. It's not all the time, but sometimes I'll start to dress him and he will pull at his shirt and scream until I take it off. It's mid-November, 9:30am here, and he's running around the house in just a diaper. Chat Icon

Just crank the heating up and think about British Gas's 7% rise!

but if he is happy, and not freezing, let him have fun. Its probably just a phase!

Ah yes, the naked stage. Gotta love it. I turned around the other day he managed to get down to a diaper.

Yep!! DD LOVES to be naked. She also LOVES to watch everything she does in the mirror. It's hysterical to watch though. She has to hold her baby doll and sing to it in the mirror, tackle mommy and daddy in the mirror........

DS loves to be naked. It is nearly impossible to get clothing on this child. He hasn't mastered the art of undressing himself. Chat Icon

I guess I'm totally done for huh? DS is only 9 months old, and HATES hates hates getting dresed! Changing a diaper is sooo difficult now...he just turns and tries to just get up and go. I will hold his legs, but he still will not sit still. He screams as if I'm tourturing him just from changing his diaper. Takes a good 20 mins to finish dressing him...and he complains the whole time. Boy oh boy...

hahahhaha I love it

Logan isn't there, BUT his babysitting friend went through that phase. I remember getting there to drop L off and seeing her in zip-up PJs with a t-shirt over the zipper so she couldn't strip!!! hahahah Chat Icon

OMG Chat Icon That's hilarious! I might have to try that!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I guess it's just a phase. It's just weird that it's not everything that he objects to - just sometimes he doesn't seem to want clothes on...Chat Icon And he can't take it off himself, so he just pulls at the neck and screams until I take it off...Chat Icon I just want him to chill so that he doesn't ruin the shirt! In the past two weeks, Ann whines and pulls at jeans when I try to put them on. Same thing this morning with a pair of khaki type pants. I suppose her preference is leopard print leggings! Chat Icon

Judging from their previous meetings, the Little Gym GTG could get a bit risque! Chat Icon
