Anyones's 6-7 month old NOT eating solids?

DS will be 7 months next week. So far I have tried him with rice, oatmeal, peas and bananas. He has zero interest - tried a little banana and wasn't as horrified as he was with the other three but I would say the most he gets of any solids is a tablespoon a day.

He is EBF.

I would keep trying with the solids. My DS hated all solids at first, but I tried everyday and he evenutally ate them. Have your tried pears? That was my DH favorite. Applesauce was another favorite. By 8 months, DS was eating three meals a day (solids).

We started later. It was about 5.5 - 6 months. I knew he was ready b/c he was watching me eat yogurt once and copying me chewing.
We tried at 4 mons and he wanted nothing to do with it. The Ped said to wait. She even said they really don't have to start solids the 1st year. They get all their nutrients from BM or formula.
When we tried it had to be liquidy with the oatmeal and we mixed with applesauce. Takes some practice, but if he's not ready then wait. DS still has some eating issues. He has no intrest and table food at all and gags easily on any textures he doesn't like

i woudl also try sweet potato or carrots because they are sweeter and they tend to like it better.
