Anything else you can do for a gassy newborn other than mylicon?
We've been doing the drops with every feeding but he's still really gassy. Any other suggestions?

Grip water and some people use a natural herb called fenugruk (sp?).

What are you supposed to do with the grip water? do you use it to make their bottles or they drink it separate?

ok so I googled it and it looks like it's given with a dropper. Do you all really feel like this worked? the gripe water I mean? We're using mylicon and he still seems uncomfortable.

thats what worked for us  - and letting him fall asleep on our shoulders. i think the pressure on his belly made him more comfortable.

dr told us to use 1 tsp of karosyrup that made him poop all over himself but helped on the gas but was pooping 4-5times a day for about 3 days after the syrup
my cousins dr told her to feed 1ounce of water a day

I put 1 teaspoon of gripe water in every bottle. I definitely noticed a big difference after we started doing this.

The mylicon didn't work for us - in fact, our ped told us it can make the baby constipated and make the situation worse. We switched to Dr. Brown's bottles and used the gripe water.

I used both mylicon and gripe water (both added to bottles) and never found either or the combination to make all that much of a difference.

we're using the playtex bottles with the drop ins. I figured these would be good b/c I push all the air out of the bags b4 he drinks.

We're doing pro-biotics, mylicon, Colic-Ease and Mylanta.
Not all that the same time 
I am most consistent with the Colic-Ease.
