Appraisal question
After the appraisal is done how long does it take to get a mortgage commitment? We're supposed to be closing on Monday, but our buyers don't have their mortgage commitment yet because they never had the appraisal done. Well actually I think they have a commitment, but it is subject to the appraisal. The appraiser was just here this afternoon and he said he was going to try to write it up tonight so that he could send it over tomorrow morning. Do you think that's enough time for the bank to get them their commitment?

Re: Appraisal question
it's def. cutting it close, but call your attorney and have your attorney stay on top of them. Tell your attorney that the appraiser said they are going to try and get it done tonight.

Re: Appraisal question
I replied to your FM. It depends on the bank, but I think you'll be ok.

I left my attorney a message this morning, but he hasn't gotten back to me. Hopefully I'll know something by tomorrow.
