Where is everyone with everything the week before April?

- Have you started going for Internals?

ME ME!! I am 37w4d

-I have had 4 internals already
-I have less than one cm dilated
-Nursery will be done this weekend
-Still dont have a pediatrician
-I am still at work, even though my dr suggested I stop, but okayed it as long as my feet are constantly up(they are)
-My last day of work is when this baby comes.
-All of DS's clothes are washed!
-Hospital bag is packed
-I NEED to get a pediatrician!!!! I have 2 I def want to use, jsut have to pick. i know I wont have time to interview, Im just gonna have to go with it.

I am due 4/30

Have you started going for Internals? Not yet- I think my next appt starts internals- 36 weeks
- How far have you progressed/not progressed? Nothing get and DD is not in the head down position
- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready? We did the nursery this weekened so we are good to go!
- Have you picked your Pediatrician? yep- met with him this past weekend and love him!
- Are you still commuting to work? Unfortunately, but I am only doing 4 day workweeks. I work from home 1 day
- When will your last day at work be? Last day in the office is planned for 4/16 but I will work from home all 4/19 week
- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing? This weekends project
- Is your hospital bag packed? sorta kinda, but not really
- What's the thinkg you know you need to get done but keep putting off Going to the store and getting all the last minute stuff I need that I didn't get for my shower

37 Weeks!!

-I has 2 internals...joyuous
-50% effaced but noooo dialation
-Nursery done..i keep going in to dust
-Have last Pediatrician interview Monday and then we decide
-My comute is a 5 mionute drive so no biggie
-I am still working and may very well break my water at ym desk...lol
-Last day of work...is when the baby decides
-I have prewashed what I know I will keep..as I still don't know if the LO will fit in some of the smaller stuff I want to be able to make exchanges...
-Bags are packed!
-My HAIR..lol I plan to have it washed and set in anticipation of looking like a monster during labor...lol

Not progresses at all

- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready?
Most of it! DH just has to finish the closet

- Have you picked your Pediatrician?
Yes, but I haven't called yet. I keep foregetting!

- Are you still commuting to work?
Yes - but my commute is only 20 mins in the car

- When will your last day at work be?
TBD!

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing?
Mostly - still have to do blankets and a few other things

- Is your hospital bag packed?
That's the plan for this weekend

- What's the thinkg you know you need to get done but keep putting off
The hospital bag! I have to start charging all the batteries for the camera too!

I'm 37w1d today!

- Have you started going for Internals?
Yup, they started at 34w for me since I have a shortened cervix to begin with

- How far have you progressed/not progressed?
5cm dialated/80% effaced

- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready?
Everything is done,just waiting till is here to get the furniture delivered

- Have you picked your Pediatrician?
Yes, picked him this week

- Are you still commuting to work?
No, I've been working from home since last week

- When will your last day at work be?
When the baby is born

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing?
Yes. My mom helped me put everything away yesterday

- Is your hospital bag packed?
Yup- and the car seat is in too!

- What's the thinkg you know you need to get done but keep putting off
Making meals and freezing them -that will be this weekend's task to get done

Have you started going for Internals? Yes- been having one a week since I was 32 wks.

- How far have you progressed/not progressed? Cervix thinning nut no real progress
- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready? yes- and the playroom is almost organized

- Have you picked your Pediatrician? Yes- my ob's wife

- Are you still commuting to work? Nope- on bed rest

- When will your last day at work be? It was at 32 wks

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing? My mil did it for me

- Is your hospital bag packed? Finished today

- What's the thinkg you know you need to get done but keep putting off Getting the breast pump

Where is everyone with everything the week before April?

- No internals yet. I have my growth sono on Monday!!!! We also have a regular ob appointment after that so maybe I'll get my first internal
- The nursery is ready and clothes are washed!
- We have a meet and greet on Saturday with a pediatrician. I hope she is good!
- I am still working 2 jobs. Subbing during the day and restaurant cook at night.
- April 16th is my last day at my night job and Subbing, my last day is the 21st.
-My hospital bag isn't packed yet and this is the thing that I haven't done that I need to do. Also to put the basinet together and the swing. I am waiting to do the final cleaning before putting that together.

yes started 2 weeks ago.

- How far have you progressed/not progressed?

just soft and thin cervix as of last monday.

- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready?

moving into new house in a couple months so just have pack and play, bassinet, swing, bouncer, glider and ottoman set up and closet in spare room full as well as basement with stuff that we wont be using yet.

- Have you picked your Pediatrician?

yes; seaford pediatrics.

- Are you still commuting to work?

i stopped working a few months ago because of contractions starting at 28 weeks.

- When will your last day at work be?

see above

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing?

no; dont want to take tags off of clothes i wont be using so ill wash as i go.

- Is your hospital bag packed?

yes.

- What's the thing you know you need to get done but keep putting off

i think i have everything; but feel like im still not prepared enough. but we never are fully prepared is what I hear..

I'm 37w1d

- Have you started going for Internals?
I started internals this past Monday

- How far have you progressed/not progressed?
There was no progress..I was all closed up.

- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready?
Kind of...we have the pack-n-play bassinet up, but not much else...this weekend DH and I will be finishing up his space in our bedroom.

- Have you picked your Pediatrician?
Yes, but she's not affliated with Stony Brook where I'm delviering.

- Are you still commuting to work?
Yes, I'm still making the 2 hour commute each way to the city everyday. I don't know how much longer I can do it for.

- When will your last day at work be?
I haven't given them a last day, I'm trying to come in as close to giving birth as possible, unless they allow me to start working from home.

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing?
I'll be doing that this weekend as well

- Is your hospital bag packed?
I'm soo not ready with a hospital bag I gotta look at the posts and decided what I need to take with me.

- What's the thing you know you need to get done but keep putting off?
Get a breast pump, pack hospital bag and make sure his space is ready.

I'm 38w 5days!!!

- Have you started going for Internals? yes, I've had many

- How far have you progressed/not progressed? yes, I've started softening and I'm over 1cm dialated!!

- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready? everything is ready and waiting for my DD!!

- Have you picked your Pediatrician? yup, and DH love him, Dr. Jassey at Bellmore Merrick Peds

- Are you still commuting to work? oh goodness no

- When will your last day at work be? i'm a student, just finished student teaching

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing? yes, i started washing at christmas thanks to a strange dream of mine

- Is your hospital bag packed? yes

- What's the thing you know you need to get done but keep putting off... have $ex because its supposed to get things moving but neither DH or I want to right now because it weirds us out haha

Hey ladies, I can't believe April is finally here and we'll all be meeting out LO's soon!!! I'm almost 37 weeks.

- I went for my 2nd internal this week- no dilation, but cervix is soft and baby is head down ready to go!
Oh and I have Strep B so if my water breaks I have to go straight to the hospital- will need antibiotics during the L&D.

- Nursery is all ready for baby!

- We interviewed 2 Peds and I think we know which one we're going with.

- Still commuting 3 hrs a day and will continue until 39 weeks- will be working from home the last week. Only 2 more weeks of commuting to the city!!!!!

- Clothing and sheets are pre-washed

- hospital bag is not packed- we bought everything but need to pack this weekend!

I was saying last week that I'm happy to wait until DD for the LO to come but now I've changed my mind. I still feel good but my mom is having surgery at the end of April and I would be so devestated if she wasn't there for my LO's arrival. Plus she's going to have a rough recovery- so I want her to have as much time with the baby as possible before she has the surgery.

- We got the furniture delivered, still need to get the changing pad for the dresser...we aren't decorating until the baby is here b/c we are team
- Haven't picked ped. yet
-Yes, but I am not far only 25 min
- April 9th, THANK GOODNESS (I teach 8th grade)
- YES! My mom and MIL came over and did 4 loads of laundry for me, they rock.
- Hospital bag is partially packed.
- Taking carseat out of box and figuring out how to use it!

Only 30days left for me

Due April 22nd so 36w today

-Had first internal yesterday and was a finger tip dilated but gained 3lbs in a week and ankles and feet very swollen so being sent for 24 urine and labs..fun fun. BP was a little high for me.
-Nursery pretty much done - just few details and getting closet organizer in
-Meeting with ped next week
- still doing 30min commute to work and plan on working until this baby comes if my OB will allow, guess it depends on what my labs show.
- all wash done and put away
-hospital bag all packed


27 days to go and can't wait to meet

- Have you started going for Internals? Not yet, I start on Tuesday.
- How far have you progressed/not progressed? The baby was in position when I had my last sonogram.
- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready? Yup! Furniture was just delivered yesterday!
- Have you picked your Pediatrician? Yes, but I haven't met him yet.
- Are you still commuting to work? Yeah.
- When will your last day at work be? When this little guy comes.
- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing? Started but have to finish. It's on my list of things to do over spring break.
- Is your hospital bag packed? On my list of things to do.
- What's the thinkg you know you need to get done but keep putting off. Call the pediatrician, pack my hospital bag, the list goes on...

C-section 4/22

Have you started going for Internals? They start on Monday

- How far have you progressed/not progressed? will find out soon!

- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready? Yes - except for stuff on the walls, a roman shade that is being made and custome slipcover for the glider

- Have you picked your Pediatrician? already have one from DD#1

- Are you still commuting to work? Yes - but it's only a 15 minute drive

- When will your last day at work be? 4/20

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing? yes

- Is your hospital bag packed? No

Well I WAS due April 1 BUT she's breech so now it's a scheduled C...tomorrow! So we're all ready to go with the nursery, last day of work was yesterday. I wanted to go natural but honestly, I'm actually a little relieved at not having to go through labor. If there was anything I could do that would prevent the C I would but the alternatives all seemed to risky.

HOpe the last few weeks for my fellow early April girls go quickly!

Due date for DS #2 is 4/12 but have a c-section scheduled for 4/5. I'm about 37.5 weeks.

Have you started going for Internals?
Yup. And I get weekly BPP and NST as well since I am considered high risk.

- How far have you progressed/not progressed?
No progression at all! I'm not effaced or dilated. My baby boy is very comfy in there!

- Is the nursery/space for your LO ready?
The nursery is pretty much. The baby will be staying in a bassinet in our room though and I feel like we still need to make more space while he is with us.

- Have you picked your Pediatrician? Yes, love the group that I have. Have used them for 3 years with DS#1.

- Are you still commuting to work? Yes, I drive though.

- When will your last day at work be? Tomorrow!

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing? About half of it. I seriously have enough newborn clothes to clothe a small country! I got so many gifts as well as hand-me-downs from family friends when I had DS#1. I am overwhelmed by all of it!

- Is your hospital bag packed?
No, and you think I would have learned after giving birth to my first DS 5 weeks early with no bag packed! This weekend I hope to get that done.

- What's the thinkg you know you need to get done but keep putting off? Besides packing the bag? Just lots of straightening up, getting things in order. I hired a cleaning service to come in next weekend to help.

I have 11 days until my scheduled c-section.

I had one internal in the office at 36 weeks. Won't have another one, EVER!! Hurray!!

no progression

we are transitioning DD to a big girl bed, so the crib will be for the baby.

since we already have a DD, we obvioulsy will be using the same ped.

had to stop working at about 31-32 weeks.

started to wash some things that we have from DD.

no, I have to get the laundry done and then will pack the night before.

there is not much to do, but I'm sure we will be busy next week.

- Have you picked your Pediatrician? Same one as DD#1
- Are you still commuting to work? Nope- not since Dec. :)

- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing? Yes it is all washed and folded in her dresser

- What's the thinkg you know you need to get done but keep putting off- Ugh my hospital bag, major house cleaning, setting up the swing and bouncer and our taxes

Everything is ready, just waiting for DS' new dresser so I can take his dresser/changing table for the baby

Yes, I have been going there for 3 1/2 yrs with DS and I love him

N/A
- When will your last day at work be?
Already had my last day, I have been working PT as a waitress so I can stay home with DS so I stopped at 35 weeks
- Have you pre-washed your LO's clothing?
Yes, I got a ton of hand me downs from friends and have washed the newborn and 0-3 stuff, but haven't washed anything that I bought or received new and won't until after DD is born
- Is your hospital bag packed?
Yes, I just packed it and installed the car seat hoping that would make me go into labor
- What's the thing you know you need to get done but keep putting off
Well, I'm not putting it off, I had it all planned out and then my mom went and broke her ankle. She was my go to person for taking DS when I go into labor, but now it will all depend on when it happens and who is around because she can't drive, but is still going to work. My dad drives her and picks her up and he works at JFK so he won't be able to get home all that fast.

I also want to cook a few more meals to cook and freeze and that is on my agenda for this weekend.

I am having tons of speratic contractions lately so I'm hoping makes her appearance soooooon.
