April Moms - We're Getting There!

Holy cow!

5 weeks and counting for me! Hope everyone is feeling well!

I start my weekly appointments next week and get my first internal and Strep B test. Had my growth sono at 32 weeks and everything looks good. DD is in position and getting ready!

My furniture isn't in yet, but I'm anxiously awaiting the call!

I had my shower on March 1st and it was a lot of fun and we got a ton of stuff.

My hips and back hurt and I haven't been sleeping well. The joys of pregnancy!

Yup, I am counting down the minutes. I am so done. I actually am hoping that makes her appearance earlier than my scheduled section on 4/18. DD#1 was 3 weeks early .
We are waiting on the carpet for the nursery but its pretty close to done. I can not wait!

I'm due in less than 3 weeks but am hoping to go sooner! My doctor said my cervix was softening at my 37-wk. appt. on Monday so I'm staying positive.! I'm pretty much all set to go except for tying up some loose ends here at work and on a freelance project I'm working on. Good luck to all of us in the final weeks!

I've got 6 1/2 weeks to go and other than feeling huge and the sheer exhaustion I feel pretty good.

Luckily I've had no problem sleeping!!

Things seem so hectic lately! Like I have so much to do and no time to get it all done.

I have childbirth/newborn care/breastfeeding classes basically every Sunday this month!

we've done nothing with the nursery yet though the crib and dresser are in and just waiting for us to schedule delivery. We just ordered the glider this weekend so hopefully it will be in soon.

I had a work shower last week and got tons of great stuff and I have my family/friends shower this Sat which I'm super excited for!!

I have my maternity pics scheduled for next Friday which I'm also really psyched for!!

I can't wait for to come. I'm so done with being PG and just want to meet him already but I have way too many things to do beforehand!!

Is there a way to speed up time and slow it down at the same time??

Can't wait!! My due date has been April 26th and i met with a different doctor since my doctor gave birth herself and left the practice. New doctor told me I may be going the first week of May though!! Hope she's wrong!!

I'm feeling great for the most part - heartburn aside. I just start to lose some stamina in the afternoon and then sleeping is another issue!! But I have been using my body pillow on top of the two pillows i've been sleeping on and that seems to have done the trick!

My shower was on Saturday and everyone was so generous...and i had a blast! It was so surreal opening up all those lil things for

I'm counting down the weeks! I've already been to L&D three times to stop contractions...the meds they put me on seem to be working now. Today, I found out that I get to stop the meds in a little over a week and then if the contractions start again- they'll just let me deliver :) The only thing really getting to me is the heartburn and bathroom trips! Ok, off to make some homemade macaroni and cheese...I've been craving it all week...

6.5 weeks to go. The nursery is painted and the furniture is in the room. My shower is on Saturday. I have back pains, sciatics, and I'm a little nausaus. Going for a sono on 3/20. Almost there. 22 work days left until maternity leave.

C-section is scheduled for 4/5- not sure still if I want to try for a v-bac but I'm leaning towards no.

Heartburn, gas pains and feeling huge- sort of wish she would come early but with a DS already, I know they are actually easier when they are inside!

So, 3.5 weeks until she is here- need to wrap things up at work and get some things done here- oh boy!!

With 2.5 weeks to go I am ready to throw the towel in.....I am so done!! hasn't dropped at all which leaves me with the worst heartburn I have ever experienced and it is ALL day long! He is completely comfortable in my ribcage making it difficult to breath/sleep/function!!

Hang in there ladies!!! We're almost there!!

I thought I was such a trooper this whole pregnancy and now I feel like a wimp. I feel like everything bothers me and I'm tired and a little moody at times, but also so anxious to finally meet my baby girl.

I'm also nesting like crazy. I've cleaned the nursery, washed the floors, organized the closet. I even started cleaning things out of my desk here at work! It does not stop!

3 1/2 weeks to go! i am ready to give up at work, but can't take the time off before the baby comes
otherwise, we have everything the baby needs except the changing table and the crib (we'll use the pack n play for now).
i am so excited i can barely sleep!
