Are the Public Schools Open now?
I was thinking about walking in my resume (yet again). Are the schools open and are the principals there??
Last time I did this,I handed my resume to some secretaries. Is it better to ask for the principal and give it to her/him? Thanks!

The schools are pretty much always open. Many of the secretaries are there year round. However, many principals and assistant principals take off in August until about the week before school starts.

Mine is open. They get out earlier- 2:00, I think and they are off on Fridays.

many principals now work year round but they do leave earlier. i know many take vacation over the summer though so it may be hit or miss actually finding them there. i don't think you'll find secretaries working unless the school hosts summer school.

my school is open all summer.... the principal isn't always in, but you'll always at least get the school secretary and they know everything!

It depends...secretaries and custodians are probably there BUT principals are probably not
