Are there any sports programs for a 3 year old?
DS keeps asking to play soccer & football. I was not going to get him started in all this until next year, but he has been asking persistently for about 3 months.
We are in Northeastern Suffolk.

I hear you! We've been itching to sign DS up for something, but everything we find (locally) starts at 4 (he turned 3 in May).
We could do SoccerTots, but the closest one is Setauket or Sayville (We live in Riverhead).
I've contemplated gymnastics (Flip-Flop in Westhampton Beach) but I'd really like an organized sport (T-ball, Soccer, etc)

Levittown Soccer Club - Snoopy program - starts at 3 yo. It begins in September, Saturday mornings.
What about gymnastics, or karate in the meantime?

I was thinking of getting him in a little tumblers program as well. We are cutting back on his School hours, and he is showing interest in these activities at this point too.

You have an awesome memory! We did move. I am not sure if I posted it 
We are in Northeastern Suffolk now. I am officially closer to the vineyards than I am to Nassau! :D

Totally try SoccerTots! My son was shy of 3 and had a great time (we did in huntington but i know they do many places)

Thanks everyone! It looks like there is one in Farmingville, which is not too far from us. They have a Soccer tots and a lil sluggers! It looks like all the local footbal programs start at either 4 or 5
