Re: Are there any tall girls...
I'm the short one in my family. I'm only 5'8" and i think now a days, that's pretty average isn't it? I actually wish i was just 2 inches taller maybe.
The only thing i hate about being somewhat tall is... I'm constantly going through pajama pants because after a while of washing them, they get shorter in the length. And it can be hard to find pants that are long enough.

Re: Are there any tall girls...
I'm 5'10" and while I love being tall it can also be annoying. I'm taller than my DH which everyone loves to comment on, a lot of shirts are short on me, and people love to say things like "i cant believe you're wearing heels. your sooo tall the begin with."

I'm around 5'7" - 5'8" and I have never ever wished I was shorter.

Re: Are there any tall girls...
I've always loved being tall, from elementary school to college.
I was telling my DH how some of the "tall girls" wished they were shorter. I don't recall ever thinking that way! I used to get frustrated because they didn't make clothes in my size, nor were shoes easy to find (well, not ones with nice heels anyway), but I would wish they would make nicer clothes and shoes...I never thought to myself "I wish I was shorter so I could wear that stuff."
I've always had to deal with comments, pretty much daily, but for the most part they've always been positive.
And I can't imagine not wearing heels!!!! I think there's nothing worse than a woman who wears flats or low heels b/c she feels awkward being tall. Believe it or not, it's obvious. My DH and I comment on that all the time when we see a tall girl in flats.
Would you believe I hate it when I'm not the tallest girl in the room!
Hell, I had my DH wrapped around my finger on the first date b/c I wore high heels all the while knowing he was already 3 inches shorter than me.
Don't you tall girls feel like you have an edge over others???

Re: Are there any tall girls...
I'm only 5'5 but my husband is 6'4 and he is too tall for this world. We can not go to Broadway shows because he can't fit in the seats. We really need to fly 1st class because he is so uncomfortable in Coach it is miserable. Even furniture has to be a certain depth otherwise his knees hurt.

You know how they say no one is ever satisfied (obviously you're an exception)? Well I went to the podiatrist on Monday and he told me I can't wear heels and now I'm devastated. I have a party to go to this weekend (where I will undoubtedly be the tallest girl in the room, even in flats) and I'm so upset that I can't wear my new heels.
I do like being tall NOW - but it took me a long time for me to learn how to let the comments roll off my back.
