Are there less houses on the market in the fall?
So what's the general prediction for fall?
Serious sellers drop their prices?
Less homes on the market?
What do you think?
Gosh this home search is getting on my nerves.

Our realtor told us that there are fewer homes being put on the market, but the buyers and sellers looking at this time are more serious. Those that can wait sometimes wait til spring to put houses on the market. Our realtor thought that the high-demand areas where we are looking will not drop considerably if the houses are priced according to comps.
We're working with a GREAT buyer agent now, and she helps a lot with this advice. Do you have a buyer agent?

We have a buyers agent and they said the fall picks up too. Its the winter that is kinda dead.

Yes our RA says right now it slows down due to back to school, etc. Then it picks up again and slows for the holidays. But it's busiest in Jan, when people want to close by spring.
